March 31, 2016 - missing that little bit of phenolic alcohol thing that calvados has, but it's not overly smooth or sweet so im enjoying it very much nonetheless.

January 6, 2013 - Brass center, yellow rim.
Apple (duh), toffee, sweet/sour, a little minty, red peppercorn.
Smooth but with a solid alcohol backbone, baked apples, caramel, salt, great length and balance.
Great brandy - has a smoothness and fruit-forwardness compared to Calvados.

January 12, 2011 - Bottle arrived, but cork had been fairly damaged, and broke upon opening the bottle. Despite this, the spirit was drinkable (and some was set aside). The brandy is a deep amber, and the nose is incredibly appley, as though walking through a field of freshly peeled apples. Nose full of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Palate: apple, pear, subtle orange, apple cider. Finish was apple/applesauce, slight candied apple, floral, and crisp sweetness. Loved it, just wish that it were easier to find (replace).
