January 13, 2024 - Timuquana BYO (TCC): From a magnum. This surprised me at how lovely it was. Drinking quite nicely. It started excellent and then had a moment where it was a touch more musty and then it seemed to soften well into a bit of age and freshness and good acid and overall very easy and well drinking.

December 9, 2021 - It’s difficult to imagine a more sophisticated Champagne. Smooth, rich, and fantastic on the nose. Tastes of dried fruit, beautiful amber colour.

September 12, 2019 - 1995 Vintage Champagne horizontal (Medlar (London)): One of the few glasses that went pretty fully in the spittoon. This served non-blind as one of the aperitifs to kick things off was not a great example. Bitter on the nose, quite unpleasant. Oxidised within a few minutes in the glass.

May 18, 2019 - From MG and brought to Falsled Kro. What a pleasure with fine mousse and long aftertaste. Quite good acidity. Initially some oxidation in the nose but blew away after half an hour. Citrus and green apples dominating.
