  October 13, 2019 - I did not find this bottle to be as linear as expected of GC. I would give it a bit more time (5y), unfortunately this was my only bottle. I did not find it worth $100+ ... grab it at $75?

  March 15, 2019 - I found it interesting that there was a gap of 4 years between tasting notes. While at dinner, a few notes. Beautiful color, aromas of bright cherries, texture was silky smooth and very elegant. The wine was well structured and balanced and a bit bolder than expected. Paired perfectly with veal and beef. Sorry nothing more but very happy I have one remaining bottle in my cellar.

  April 14, 2018 - .....and could get even better? One of the best Clos de la Roche ever tasted. The Dujac from the same year is pretty similar but maybe this, at this stage, has the edge? Lovely red fruits at the front of mouth, woodland, slight herbs. Burgundy at its very, very best. Silky feel, and a finish that is just fantastic. Four of us agreed this was a very fine wine indeed. I can see this wine being ranked 98 plus....

  January 25, 2014 - Hmmm, a bit muddled and indistinct. Grand Cru should have evident terrior - this doesn't. Nice burgundy but blind I'd have had no chance of picking either the village, vineyard or ranking.
