    February 17, 2021 - It has been a while ago I opened a Chidaine...

Aromas of green apple and some slight honey tones. Great balance in the palate with still a lot of freshness, excellent acidity and a long finish. Surprisingly dry.

In great shape now but this can be cellared for another 10+ years.

    April 21, 2020 - Nice Chenin Blanc.
I decanted this wine but would not recommend doing so.
The wine developed very quickly in the glass, so there is no need.
This probably has to do with low level SO2 use.
nice broad aromatics spanning from savory, herbal to citrus and vanilla ( not from oak).
Great acidity but also really nice texture producing a complete wine with great purity and length. Will drink the other bottle within a couple of years. Nice.

March 19, 2019 - Impressive, this will go another 10 years, no question. So elegant, edgy, clean, and sophisticated. Stone fruit, apple and citrus in a trio of flavors surrounding a zippy acid core. Man, what a great wine.

March 17, 2019 - Bottle #7, and my final bottle of this vintage of Breuil, too. Figured 10 years was a good mark to celebrate opening it. I pulled the cork on this about an hour ago, and then put some chill on the wine for this note. This is solid, showing no signs of fading, neither in the color nor flavor. I still find it stupid I paid $22 for this, as these wines were such a great bargain when I bought them back in 2011. Aromatic of honeysuckle, with a beautiful core of nectarine, green apple, and lime, finishing super clean and refreshing. This is tasting so clean, fresh and lively, it makes me shrug my shoulders that I just don't have one more. The good thing is that I get to enjoy this bottle tomorrow too. Awesome Breuil.
