December 2, 2023 - Quite different from the ‘91 Boudots earlier. Darker, younger, probably a bit bigger, more brooding, lots of spice. (Second bottle, first one very, very faintly corked) Brief notes from memory, but I’d say true to Domaine style, definitely darker in the glass.

December 14, 2019 - Dark red with a lush fragrances of blackberries, cherries and spices like cloves and cinnamon. Mouthfeel a bit reserved in the beginning, but opening up after some 10 minutes in the glass, revealing breadth and depth. Again berries and spices, distinct but agreeable tannins and a long, intense finish.
    A showcase old-style Burgundy!

June 28, 2019 - Musique & Vin Paulée Musicale BYO Dinner (Château de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. A wine I adored for many years, but my last three bottles tasted over the past five years all seemed flawed/ corked. Not tonight's! Charming red fruits with sweet spice that is prototypically Vosne with unfolding and elegant layers on long finish.

January 11, 2019 - JM Paulee. Leathery, high acid. Low on enjoyment.

November 17, 2017 - Thirteenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): One of the more controversial wines of the evening. Not particularly enjoyable. I thought it was stripped of fruit and slightly corked based on (a) its context alongside the other bottles of Méo-Camuzet in the flight and (b) my prior experience with this great wine.
