March 3, 2024 - Very light and delicate. Not great complexity. Fruit + not much else.

February 23, 2023 - Wonderful and punches way above its pedigree . Dark cherry. Earthy and persistence with intriguing complexity for a village wine. Even better than prior tasting. All 12 bottles were sound. Decant .

November 13, 2022 - A great success for village Gevrey with red fruit and licorice spice. Still palpable tannin and needed a good decant. Can age longer

April 1, 2022 - decanted 30 min, some fine sediment. performing on par w/a bottle nearly a year ago, very savory & showing tangy, seems to have lost weight but is delivering at its best now.

both the wine & the food were very fine, tho not a sound pairing. a minor quibble.

black pepper pork porterhouse; ragout of chanterelles, asparagus & pea tendrils

August 29, 2021 - Meaty and earthy black cherry aromas. Round fruit with nicely integrated structure that is in total harmony. Meaty, stemmy finish. Cruising along in an ideal window.
