  April 20, 2019 - Still purple but not opaque. Nose of briary fruit, spices, tar, iron. Similar on the palate with good fruit and balance. Nice wine with grilled pork tenderloin.

  November 7, 2014 - quite medicinal nose, leather and some fruit
  needs time to open up
  Initially you can just taste the alcohol
  after some time some herbs, leather and a good dose of tannin at the end
  Some heat at the end
  A big boozy Southern wine. Mature now and enjoyable
  I don't think it will improve much.
  Don't serve too warm, a little chill tames the booziness somewhat.

  April 22, 2014 - Popped and poured. If you like CdR, this is a great wine. I drank too much CdR in my 'early years', so am a bit jaded on the appellation these days. Notwithstanding, was pleasantly surprised and inspired to open a bottle by most recent TN. Glad I did!

  April 14, 2014 - Decanted 2 hours. This wine is in a perfect place right now. Very well balanced with a medium body and long finish. Vanilla, red and black berries. Smooth and refined. Too bad it's my last bottle.
