    February 24, 2014 - Unbalanced. Acidic. Better day 2.

November 18, 2012 - Opened this wine several hours before serving. Served with grilled beef ribs. Casis and smoke on the nose. Casis and spice in the initial flavors. Good mouthfeel with more tanins than expected; somewhat short finish. Young wine that needs more time. Not as impressive as some of the other petite chateau in this price range.

Tasted again the next day. Even more closed in with little in the nose and initial flavors. Not sure what to make of this wine.

September 24, 2012 - I opened, poured a glass and hand vacuum sealed the bottle over night. I loved the whole bottle, delicious fruit forward taste, a bit of smoke, cedar, really nice, hope to buy more.

August 28, 2011 - For a very inexpensive bottle of drink-now bordeaux, this was a pleasant surprise (i.e. I didn't want to open one of my "good" ones). great fruit on the nose and in the palate, but not overly forward. Solid musty earth backbone, decently-balanced tannins as well. You could do a lot worse than this for $20.
