April 14, 2018 - During a La Paulee dinner, so no detailed tasting notes. A bit warm and rustic, not bad but not refined either.
January 1, 2018 - 2018 New Years Day Tasting (Marietta, GA): Dark ruby, see through; mushroom, intense nose, plum; seemed to be going into dumb phase.
August 1, 2017 - Enfin une expérience convaincante avec Lamarche. Fruits noirs un peu compotés et épices. Le vin a gagné en souplesse et se goute bien actuellement. Bonne finale !
September 9, 2010 - Domaine Lamarche Tasting, Mostly 2009 From Barrel (Vosne-Romanee - Burgundy): Barrel tasting at winery. Mostly red fruit with some black cherry hints, this is more fruit than spice driven. Presently one of the most elegant of the wines in the top of the Lamarche 2009 lineup. From three different plots, all more on the Vosne side of Echezeaux, that contributes added complexity to this wine.
June 10, 2010 - Visit to the winery - Francois Lamarche (Vosne): barrel sample. Intense, but slightly muted nose compared to Les Suchot and La Grande Rue at this stage, very elegant. 93-94
