May 30, 2023 - As good as in 2019. Pnp. Still loads of fruit, dark color. Big and charming wine. Silky finish. Many more years ahead.

February 19, 2023 - A big name delivering opulence, depth and a lot of drinking pleasure, but with a bit too much new world "woodyness" for my taste. Still, a very pleasant drinking experience once you "look" through the intense dark wood aromas hitting your palate immediately, with supermature red fruit, sweet spices, coffee, caramel, prunes, garrigue (50% Syrah! - and only 30% CabSauv) and ample umami. Early drinking window, which I expect to last at least another 5 years (perhaps more, but the high proportion of Syrah imposes prudence).

December 1, 2021 - Cooked berries and spice with acid minus and oak plus. Has a bitter finish.

    October 6, 2020 - WIML93

    Tasted non blind.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, tobacco, black pepper and dark plum. Flavors of dried plum, black berries and currants. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air or continue to hold.
