September 29, 2018 - Delicious Nebbiolo, beautifully complex with upfront earthy aromas and flavors, as the tart cherry pit flavors take a back seat.
Plenty of finely grained tannins to give baseline structure, and energetic acidity, making this mouthwatering and so food friendly.
Drink now through 2020 or so, great WFTM. -

August 20, 2018 - Decanted for an hour. Delicious the nose was not typical for Nebbiolo and the fruit really jumped out on the sweeter side of the spectrum, so not identify-able as Barbaresco. Still a very enjoyable wine with moderate complexity and tannins that built a little over the hour we enjoyed it without ever becoming intrusive. I see no reason not to drink now with a bit of air.

November 4, 2017 - PnP this wine, my 8th bottle of a full case.
So delicious, and what a value at $27 USD.
On the nose, old baseball glove leather, dried tobacco leaf, piquant (yes I said piquant) cherry pit, moist potting soil, hint of rose petal.
The palate shows a seamlessly integrated, mature Nebbiolo, with sour cherry fruit, tea leaves, wet soil, pipe tobacco, and cooking spice.
The tannins are finely grained and lend a tartness to the medium-bodied mouthfeel, supported by lively acidity, leading into a long, cherry-pitted finish. Delicious now through 2020+.
