July 23, 2016 - Over the 4 years I've had these they are getting better--more like I expected. Showing chocolate and cherry with ok balance and reasonable finish. The green olive flavor was a bit distracting

March 7, 2016 - Did not decant. Served with grilled NY Strip. Cassis and berries that continued into the mid-range. Tannins were not noticeable. Good finish. This is a very good, moderately priced Cabernet and I rely heavily on Buehler for moderately oaked and lower alcohol cabernets.

January 16, 2016 - Glad I waited on this one, but it is time to drink up as it is at its peak. Really nice expression of Napa Cab that drank well above the price. Lots of ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit with vanilla notes and enough acidity for good balance . Tannins were well integrated and smooth. Paired well with bone in NY Strip.

    January 10, 2016 - Much better then I anticipated.
It tastes like blueberry, raspberry, forest floor, bell pepper and tobacco.

August 16, 2015 - This bottle showed the way that I expected it to. This should be about the right time to be drinking this wine and I expect it to last at least another 5 years. Nice heavy deep and dark fruit on the front followed by oak and a touch of smoke. the middle is still a bit thin but the finish shows nice dark fruit and a slightly tight tannin that lasts a good while
