May 30, 2021 - Popped and poured. Gentle aroma of stone fruit and wet stone. Rich flavors of barely ripe apricot, minerals. Honey and citrus balance each other out in a lingering, full finish. True kabinett level sweetness, mature, nice backbone, some complexity. Drinking well.

April 18, 2021 - Medium yellow. Just exudes ripe yellow apple on the nose and palate with a touch of honey thrown in. Moderate sugar for a Kabinett, average acidity, and not a lot of minerality to be found here. An easygoing drink. Ten years ago, I said that it was not one to hold forever, but it has acquitted itself well and remained tasty and fresh over the intervening decade.

November 17, 2020 - This bottle underwhelmed - more mature than I had hoped. Closer to an apple juice profile, none of the zing i love in the Adam wines. Cellared since release, just was a bit flabby. Because of that, the sweetness felt dialed up more than I typically like in kabinett. Oh well, can't win 'em all! Golden hues, juicy apple profile. Wish I had another to see if it was bottle variation because other '09 Kabinetts have been so great.

May 29, 2020 - A real Wow wine. Sheer clarity and balance with that Sweet Tart ping! that delivers a smile.
Honestly would not have guessed at 10 year old. So fresh and alive.

Drinking through the 10+ year olds German and Austrians during lockdown has me thinking its not a wine but a different class of beverage altogether.
Some duds but mostly stunning beverages.

    Such diversity of acidity, sweetness

July 29, 2019 - The capsule was wet and cork was protruding. Needless to say, this was flawed. Too bad.
