March 19, 2012 - A nice light fruity nose. Smooth body with a continuation of fruit with hints of cedar and coffee on the finish. Nice tannins, not too much, not too little. A good table wine, paired nicely with spaghetti then served as an evening sipping wine.

March 10, 2012 - Blind tasted by a panel of eight: Garnet in color. Pretty nose of dark fruit with earth and a floral note. Flavors are dark red fruit, spice, and leather. Reasonably well balanced, with maybe just a touch more acid than would be perfect. Nice complexity on the finish, with hints of earth and must showing up as it lingers. This was consistently one of the top two wines of the night.
