December 18, 2016 - Best O'Brien wine to date. Decanted for 30 minutes (there is sediment so strain it). Blew me away, rich, complex, taste evolved over 2 hours. Had with steak dinner and it paired perfectly. Very special and should be great for years to come, but perfectly mature now.

September 6, 2016 - Overachieved with really good complexity of secondary flavors in a dark fruited wine. Good sweet tannin and decent acidity for a rich wine. Lots of dark notes and grittiness in a very good way added interest. Long finish.
