  Pale pink; flowers and strawberries on the nose; medium bodied but seems light, very light tannin, medium acid, slight effervescence, noticeable alcohol on the mouthfeel despite its 12%. Bright fruit, minerality; medium sweet cherry finish.

This rose has enough minerality, acidy and earthiness that I'm not craving red wine while this is in my glass. I especially like this the closer it gets to room temperature. I haven't shelled out more than $18 for a rose yet so I'm sure there are even better examples in the 30+ range, but if the average rose was this interesting, I'd have a lot more roses in my wine collection. I would purchase this again.
