January 18, 2024 - This is an excellent champagne. Color is really lovely with an amber pink hue. On the nose, I get grapefruit, blood orange (lots of blood orange), yeast and a rocky chalky note as well. The palette matches the nose here, and adds in some intensely concentrated red fruits (strawberry and raspberry). Acidity is quite high, which I appreciate and dosage, while seemingly high on paper at 9/gl, is expertly judged. There’s a crispness to the wine that makes it a solid palette cleanser too. Finish is short to medium in length, which may be my only gripe here, but it’s a minor one. For the money, this is certainly over delivering.

December 16, 2023 - Consistent with previous bottle. Delicious rose champagne worthy of celebratory occasions.
December 14, 2023 - These are great. Ambonnay fruit, refined, bright pink/red, strawberry, rhubarb, hard rock mineral dust, quenching.
November 12, 2023 - Disgorged August 24, 2009. Tight and tannic upon opening, this wine really blossomed with air, becoming progressively sweeter and more honeyed over time. Opulent notes of macerated strawberries, then strawberry jam, candied ginger, and ripe nectarines. But the most dominant note is brown sugar, which is simultaneously alluring and overpowering. This has enclosed very nicely for a 15 year wine.
June 11, 2023 - På den mörkare sidan röd för en rosé. Fin syra, autolytiska toner och äpple. Bra men inte fantastiskt.
May 17, 2023 - Feb 2012 disgorgement, cellared since release. Showing beautifully with some signs of development, caramel and forest floor notes, but plenty of Pinot fruit and acid left. Glad we lost one of these in the the cellar.
March 11, 2023 - good not great and would go seeking others in this price point $55 range. Good acidity, leaner style on first impression and then a lingering medicinal white cherry note that was okay but a bit distracting.
December 23, 2022 - I’m not getting much of any red fruit note, which may be missed or more of the power of suggestion from the color. Maybe light strawberries and cream. Lemon, zest, almost-ripe white peach, minerality, and baguette. A solid wine and not expensive considering, thought for a rose, there are others I would purchase first.
August 14, 2022 - Nose of red cherry, raspberry, yeast, brioche, slate, and peach, same on the palate, crisp, bright, fresh, rich Rose, medium/big body, tasty, great Rose for $50, and a long, long, flavorful finish and aftertaste.
August 10, 2022 - Peking duck with Adam and Jason: A nightcap. This really has to be the consistently best NV Rose Champagne out there. Super fresh, energetic, bold, pure flavors. Extremely vigorous at this stage (disgorged 3/10/2021).
