  day three and this is still hard as nails. open on counter - hoping for the best.
  After multiple days this never opened up.....dunno what to say except I am afraid to buy any more - even at a discount

  September 8, 2014 - Fruity mixed with an earthy tone. A bit tart and drying tannins. Good balance. CdB makes a very nice village wine. The fruit is not typical 2009 warm but much more cool and therefore better in my opinion. It can certainly be drunk with pleasure and is approachable but the tannins can smoothen out a bit.

Greenness predominates on the nose and palate. Some Pinot fruit on the nose but it's quite indistinct and surrounded by greenness. Palate is acidic and a bit astringent; not thin though, in fact it's juicy and quite firm and medium-bodied, with grainy tannins, but otherwise it's still green and hard to tell it's a 2009.
