September 20, 2017 - A fabulous wine for the price and from a region of the Rhone that is often overlooked. Boisterous strawberry and cherry fruit flavors with a dash of pepper and spice.

May 24, 2015 - Decanted for an hour. Gutsy wine for a St. Joseph. Firm tannins, full bodied, alcohol stands out a little too strong but typical for a Rhone. Black berry, raspberry flavors with hints of spice and pepper. Still evolving.

May 3, 2012 - This was dramatically better the 2nd night, so suggesting that it was a bit early to be opened. The nose was bramble with wet leaves and yeast. The taste felt thick and jammy, but was not fruit forward. The pepper finish was enjoyable.
