March 31, 2022 - Chambolle night: This felt weightier and black-fruited than the Gevrey village that I tried last year, which had the classic Fourrier red fruit. Nevertheless this was very lovely and had a silky texture that suggested a good producer. Was quite understated so I felt that this was from a cool vintage, was quite surprised that it turned out to be a 2009. An extremely classy wine and my favourite of the night.

May 21, 2020 - In a very good place right now. Was forward and easy to drink from the get-go, but seemed to have the depth and dark fruits of the village Gevrey, perhaps a function of the barrel style preferred by Fourrier? After 45 minutes, the tarter red fruits seemed to come to the front. A very nice overall experience.

June 24, 2019 - In a very good place, nice rich pure fruit red fruit profile with well intngrated spices. Would fool many as being 1er. No rush to drink, but unlikely to improve, so drink it.
