January 5, 2024 - A very niece soft Burgundy well balanced. We are getting cherries and cranberries - also some spices. Tannins are soft and well integrated - good long aftertaste - a well made wine that is drinking well happy to start with solid 93.

November 14, 2020 - Dyp rød farge med svak oransje kant. Kompleks Vosne aroma med preg av av mørke kirsebær, sur-søt frukt, tea, eksotisk krydder og skogbunn. I munn er den på den fyldige siden, medium+ syre/tannin og god lengde. Kompleks aroma, men kan trenge å myknes litt i munn, så 3-5 år vil gjøre godt. Anbefaler 1 time i karaffel.
May 13, 2020 - One of the best aspects of a wine of this style and age is the start. The scent is soft and fruit fragrant. Great to not face the force of too much alcohol or tannins. All nicely balanced with soft tannins. Oak seems to balance the wine, making the fruit full and present, but not overpowering. Generally, a great example of a clean, balanced pinot that does not overpower; soft, and unsweet fruit in an elegant style and weight. A hint of spices (sort of a subtle cinnamon) on the finish. A wine that is showing why age matters. Still no rush to drink. I sense the wine will have several more years to go.
March 31, 2020 - Improved over two years ago. More composure here than I recall. And certainly some modest upside
August 25, 2019 - Dark cherry and spicy herbs dominate the nose. There is a purity to the palate which is a trend I've noticed in the 2009 Meo's. Dark fruited and not a hair out of place. It's very precise and totally pleasing.
December 28, 2018 - Elegant wine that was still youthful. Bouquet of dark berry, mushroom, and hint of spice. On the palate, same dark berry with slight (good) smokiness and a little creaminess. Only thing missing was a bit of length on the finish.
June 15, 2018 - Still quite primary ripe red fruit, dark soil tones, and the lightest spice. Upside, but would wait a few years before trying another bottle. 90+
April 8, 2018 - Deep wine that captured 2009. Prolonged the steak's mushroom & red wine sauce perfectly. A wine one feels lucky to own. Very fortunate.
November 21, 2017 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #023; Vosne Romanée (By VD): Beautiful and complex bouquet with red as well as black berries, autumn forest, earth and meaty impressions. On the palate the same impressions. Subtle and complex. Beautiful and juicy acidity and round tannin. Beautiful wine in its early maturity stage and with a good future ahead. 92 - 93
