September 5, 2023 - Dark red transition towards brick. Earth and funky opening blow away. Wax, tart red fruit, with hints of mint and pepper. Angular fruit on the palate. Concentrated and complex. Spices and licorice. Very long.

August 24, 2019 - What a nice Village Vosne that was drinking beautifully after about an hour of air. The aromas of dark black and blue fruit are mixed with notes of earthy Vosne spice. The palate is all rich, penetrating dark fruit that initially wants to lean toward the rustic side, but then brightens considerably on the mid palate. There’s lots of sous bois and Asian spice undertones. This is drinking really well tonight.

December 18, 2018 - This is a very nice village Vosne that has softened abit since I last tasted it with lots of rounder, red fruit, earthy, brambly sous bois notes, Vosne spice and pretty good depth for its level. Although it has softened, it still has a fairly masculine edge to it. All in all, quite nice and drinking well with about an hour or so of air.

August 20, 2017 - This is a really nice village Vosne with a very pretty nose of dark red fruit, brambly sous bois, spice and some floral notes, all of which carry through to the fairly masculinity midweight palate. Tonight, this took a few hours to open and then was drinking well.

February 7, 2016 - Quite nice tonight after about 3 hours of double decanting with round, red fruit, earth, spice, sous bois and really good depth for a Village Vosne. This has a feel of subtle power and is drinking really well tonight.

September 18, 2014 - Expressive and lovely sweet flower petals, sachet, touch nutmeg and soy, herbal strawberry and ripe cherry; silky entry, medium body with excellent extract and balance. A bit dry rustic tannins in the dusty finish, but good fruit intensity starting to turn tertiary (already!). Superb village lieu dit. 90-91

June 16, 2014 - This is a very nice village Vosne with good depth and richness to its dark fruit, earth and spice, and there's some decent minerality running through its core. Even though the mouthfeel is primarily masculine, it has softer, more rounded edge and a long, satisfying finish. All in all, quite delicious after being opened, not decanted for 4 or 5 hours
