April 13, 2014 - I thought this was closed down the first time I had it a few years ago, but popped and poured now and it was a quite good, thick, spicy, classic malbec.
March 7, 2014 - Dark ruby. Nutmeg, oak, and dirty cranberry nose. Medium bodied, intense red cherries, dust, soft tannins, tobacco, heat, and a tangy, medium finish. Fine for the Costco price.
March 3, 2014 - Surprisingly standard Malbec. Alcohol still overwhelms, but can last longer in the bottle. Decant for a couple of hours may help. Spicy.

April 24, 2012 - Dark ruby in colour with garnet hues. Aromas of ripe plum fruit, black cherries and spice. A blend of three different vineyard sites, (La Consulta, Agrelo and Vista Flores) gives an intense black fruit flavors, spicy vanilla, and a rich velvet mouth feel with a soft tannic finish. Excellent!
November 28, 2011 - Young with a wall of tannins almost overpowering the fruit. It had good structure and should mellow out with a few years in the cellar.
This wine also was the "expert" favorite on the show Vine Talk.
Had this wine during a 5 person blind tasting with 3 other bottles of WA and Argentinian Malbecs. This was the final order although the scores were very close and three different wines recieved the highest score from the 5 tasters. 1) 2007 Dusted Valley Malbec, 2) 2009 Familia Zuccardi Q Malbec, 3) 2008 Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec and 4) 2008 Fidelitas Malbec.
October 30, 2011 - Sec, moyennenemtn corsé, boisé et fruité. Simple et agréable avec une bonne richesse.
September 9, 2011 - Étonnant! Un beau nez de cola, de fleurs bleues (violettes). Légèrement métallique aussi.
Le vin est bien foncé et violacé. En bouche, dans le moment c'est un peu rustique. Les tannins sont un tantinets râpeux et l'alcool n'est pas tout à fait intégré, mais c'est très beau et d'un potentiel évident.
En fin de bouche, un petit côté fumé et à peine sucré nous rappelle qu'on est pas à Cahors, mais à l'aveugle c'est ce que j'aurais "callé" : Un très bon Cahors! Après quelques heures il acquière une richesse qui évoque le Porto. Vraiment bien fait!
À un peu moins de 20$ ça me semble un très bon RQP et je n'hésiterais pas à en laisser dormir une ou deux 4, 5 ans. Ça risque d'être très surprenant...
