November 12, 2016 - I absolutely wish I had seen elevwine's post before I had pulled the bottle. Looking for a pop and pour for a lazy Saturday night. Saw I had one bottle in the bottom of bin 9 and had panicked when I saw WS and WA drinking windows. Expected a terrible bottle, got something completely different. Youthful, fruity, slight tannins. Has several years left. Not that I will be able to find out because I just drank my last bottle. Now I am sad. elevwine nailed it.

September 5, 2016 - Lost at back of cellar. Saw CT drinking window and was worried. No need. Cellared at 59 so still in great shape. Cedar, nutmeg and cassis on nose, opened almost immediately after pour to rich boysenberry and vanilla flavors. Maybe a bit too much oak, but otherwise a rich and expressive wine. Long finish. Good balance with acidity still intact. Glad I found this now. Found several other orphans in cellar I will try next.

January 6, 2014 - After drinking nearly a half dozen of these wines this year, this bottle was by far the best, and sadly, my last. Perfectly smoothed out tannins and an acidic backbone complemented the fruit nicely. If only all my bottles were like this one.

November 7, 2013 - Opened to a slightly stained cork. Very dark, dark purple to black with deep red/purple. Aged nose of dusty black cherry, layered fruit, cedar, blackberry, olive. Acidic, vibrant, some sweet cherry left here, not way over the hill but certainly at peak if not declining. Solid offering, enjoyable cab.
