January 17, 2024 - 7th of 12, opened an hour, perfect cork and level, v attractive and nuanced, and higher toned than last in April 21, less mid palate punch perhaps, but authoritative, plateau, 5+ years. F+ (18).

April 21, 2021 - 6th of 12, opened an hour, perfect cork and level, again lovely, consistent with previous bottles, little upside but no rush. VF (18.5)......power and nuance, yardstick chianti!

April 5, 2021 - Tasted blind. Quite nice nose of underwood, mushrooms, red cherries, some leather, and mint. Quite dusty on the palate with medium acidity and little fruit left with fully integrated tannins. This tasted much older than it should have and I suspect the bottle wasn't stored properly.

March 24, 2021 - not my style of wine, and past it's peak.. this bottle was quite disappointing, a heavy, rich style that was in vogue in the 90's in Tuscany and this has not evolved positively with time in the bottle. Lacks finesse, elegance and balance imho

November 12, 2020 - about 6 hrs open and 1 hr decant; slow out of the gate but kept getting deeper and more brooding in a very good way. Best of and sadly last of 8 bottles.
