November 12, 2006 - Wine Cellar - Rioja and Fontanafredda (Wine Cellar, Cape Town): (Tasted Blind): Dried banana and plum greet the nose, dusted with cinnamon and nutmeg. Intense. Soft and fruity on entry the mid-palate is juicy with supple tannins and a long finish. Super soft and velvety as the wine opens.

May 31, 2006 - Medium garnet with a hint of lightening at the rim. Peppery cherry, berry, leather, earth on the nose. Palate reveals brambley cherry, spice, touch of pepper...good acidity finishes this enjoyable daily drinker.
