February 13, 2011 - 4 hrs decant. Very unusual nose; fruit, raspberry, there was something almost Beaujolais nouveau about this. Not unpleasant on the palate, if somewhat too acidic, it almost had a lemon feel about it. Tannic. We have no experience with the Northern Rhone, but can't imagine this is what it should be like. I guess I'll keep the other bottle till next year to see what happens.

We hade duck confit with it, not a bad match.
