  October 17, 2016 - The last of 20 bottles of what I think is one of the best $16 bottles I've ever had the pleasure of sampling. I have purchased the 2009 and 10 vintages and they don't have the intensity of the 07's which is one of those magical vintages for a producer. The two things i award in a wine is a great nose (and sniffing a nearly empty glass while I write this I am still getting intense dark fruit and spice) and a long finish (again while writing this I drained the last of the glass and I am still enjoying the aftertaste). Great wine from a relatively unknown producer makes this a special find. Cheers.

  February 7, 2015 - Great QPR second wine opened after a $35 bottle of Priorat from Val Llach. Held up on most fronts, very enjoyable well made wine.

  May 24, 2014 - Once again this is my 16th tasting note I think, this wine over delivers for the price. We followed a 2004 Brunello with this and I often use this bottle as a reliable backup to keep the party going, yet if folks don't finish it I am not upset as if I opened another big gun from the cellar. While the Brunello was very good this was more vibrant with a longer finish. Fantastic juice.
