June 8, 2013 - A little of the over extracted Aussie spirit, but s smoothed out over dinner.
Strong fruit, smooth tannins. Sweet cherry, vanilla, blueberry.
Had with a flavorful flank steak with wine reduction and cold orzo salad. Combo worked well.
Better than expected. -

May 17, 2013 - This wine is a great example of the quality Cabernet that The Coonawarra in Oz is known for. Unlike the often jammy Barossa Shiraz's, this is a crisp tart berry Cabernet, smooth, with pepper, cherry and hints of mint. Certainly will cellar nicely for a number of years.
