June 10, 2022 - 92 - really well executed bottle of wine, but QPR is suspect when there are so many great cab driven options out there

October 27, 2018 - Académie des Cinquante 63rd Annual Dinner (Restaurant Olivijn, Haarlem, NL): Fresh and crisp structure, tight and youthful for age, develops notes of chocolate and balsamic, blackcurrants, firm but finely grained tannins, good length.

September 17, 2016 - Very big and firm. Woody on the nose with a bit of perfume, cassis, and brooding black currant fruit. Some earthy tones managing to sneak though. Hot and structured on the palate, dense and dark. Delivers a syrupy core of blackberry and currant fruit. Not brutal, actually fairly enjoyable.

October 24, 2014 - A great Italian evening in Belgium: Barnyard, dark berries and rustic flavors in the bouquet. Same on the palate, chocolate and mocha, good acidity and soft tannin. Beautiful and mature wine.

October 24, 2014 - Italian night @ Stappato (Enoteca Stappato, Leuven (Belgium)): Very deep dark ruby colour. Lots of power and tannines, clearly a Cabernet-dominated wine. Masculine, sturdy, spice and cassic. Strong and convincing.

November 2, 2012 - Lovely very earthy and extremely nice & complex cab nose!
Still quite grippy and firm tannins present.
    Nice Darmagi!
    A “food wine” to me.

August 26, 2010 - Medium bodied, with cedar character on both nose and palate. Italian / Old World in style, balanced and not super fruit forward. Nice wine with steaks.
