October 7, 2016 - First and only of this for me, as it was a gift from a while back, but I sense this is probably a little past peak at this point. It's still got a medium to deep ruby color to it, however. Nose is a little stuffy right now, but I'm getting some aromas of black cherry and plum, along with a bit of well integrated oak spice and a touch of earthy funk. Medium body, acid, and finish, and similar flavors on the palate, but with slightly out of balance yet not too detrimental spikes of oak and alcohol. Pretty good for what I imagine was a fairly inexpensive bottle.
February 23, 2013 - Medium bodied red fruit soft tannins
January 23, 2013 - Soft red fruit flavors. Easy to drink with soft tannins.
July 17, 2012 - Smooth on the palate with soft cherry flavors and maybe a little herb. Decent wine. Two out of the three bottles I had were ok.
June 8, 2012 - - Garnet color.
May 18, 2012 - Nose: Dark, black mud, Attack: A little strawberry Midpallet: Chocolate Finish: Fairly short finish with blackberry and a little blue agave
May 17, 2012 - Drank over several nights - same notes as before, except paid $18 for btl - not same QPR
April 15, 2012 - Earthy with strong black fruit.
February 25, 2012 - Barnyard and red fruit on the nose, with some spice and stewed vegetables. Tannic on the palate, with barnyard, red fruit and spice
