October 22, 2021 - A very classy Burgundy. Opened 2-3 hours before drinking. Got better as evening progressed. Has the potential for further improvement Lovely

June 27, 2021 - Opened an hour before serving. It wavered in the glass quite a bit, changing from quite austere to more open and back, then opened again an hour later, suggesting it could benefit from 2-3 more years in bottle. Nice round tannins, black and red fruit, sous bois and violets.

April 11, 2021 - Ample wild strawberry, raspeberry profile on the palate and nose. Well balanced with acidity and minearlity. It is a very accessible and enjoyable wine.

March 15, 2021 - Juicy and energetic, with a bright red fruit profile of cherry, wild strawberry and pomegranate. Notes of spice and sous bois add complexity, with a sandalwood, peppery finish. Seemed to fade a bit on the 2nd nigh, so not sure about the longevity here. Really good stuff, but not necessarily worth the hefty price tag for the Ponsot name.

November 8, 2020 - This was excellent; the nose was absolutely filled with pure red fruits and spices with an airy elegance that blind would have put me in Chambolle; some floral notes and just a hint of damp earth develop with time; still overall pretty primary, but certainly drinking well; the palate has very good depth and concentration, but the balance is what really stands out as this is ethereal and elegant yet powerful; the finish is about the only place you can tell this was a warm vintage and notice the tannins; delicious and with lots of years of good drinking ahead.
