March 20, 2013 - (from memory) Dark crimson, fragranced nose of ripe raspberry, cherry, tar and earthy undertones, dark on the attack with plenty of bright fruit and tangy acidity, finish is longer than expected with jammy red and dark berry fruit, mocha, earth and floral notes

February 27, 2012 - Earthy nose with juniper and cherry.Juicy, good acidity, the nose continues on the palate, not complex or overly smooth, but drinking very well. Very good food wine.

September 11, 2011 - Juicy, inky, acidic. Nice barbera, could use a bit more time but not sure how much better it will get. Food made a believer out of my wife who found it too tight upon opening.
