April 7, 2024 - Kept in a wine-coller at 13 degrees C. since september 2012. Open nose. In the taste a powerful fruit, a good acidity and some complexity. Although there was a lot of sediment and the mouthfeel was rather smooth, the last tannins may resolve further and might still improve this wine. The alcohol was 15%, but that was never disturbing. A bit rustic, but with real quality. This wine might benefit from one or even two years of further keeping. 93.

April 5, 2024 - From memory- drank at Asti w/Pat and Jennifer. Medium to lighter body. Good balance of acid to structure. Nose is roses, used book store and licorice. Taste, licorice , red cherry and dirt. Medium finish. Drinking well now but has room for further development.

October 20, 2023 - A dark garnet wine with a lighter body, and a nose of cherries and dried flowers. Soft, yet rich in the mouth, with tastes of cherries, and a hint of earthiness. Good structure and acidity. Showing realy nicely at this point in time. The finish had decent length. Very nice overall.

February 11, 2023 - Tasty wine, but seems to lack the energy and/or elegance that I was hoping for. Don't get me wrong, it is good. But missing that wow factor. Seems to be very 2007 with ripe round fruit.
