February 22, 2013 - A big red that is ready now. Dark berries, smoke, rich leather and tobacco. Finishes long on the palate with nice balance of tannins and smokiness. Glad we have a few more bottles to enjoy.

April 1, 2012 - Sonoma - March 2012: Spectacular in a big, ripe, warm climate style. Abundant black fruit with licorice, smoke and meat. In the mouth rich and full, perfectly balanced with a touch of tannin. One of my top 5 from a several day Sonoma trip.

October 9, 2011 - 92 points. Sensational, complex, old world harmoniously integrates with new world. Fresh picked blueberries nestled on a bed of loom wrapped in fine Cabretta leather with an essence of lavender. And my wife says 95 and picked up a bit of Gala apple. Glad we joined the club.
