September 11, 2020 - This was the star of the night, Decanted for 2 hours, Tannins are very Soft, Dark Black Inky in the Glass, Full Bodied and Big, Lots of Dark Fruit on the Pallet, Cherry, Raspberry, Tobacco and Spice. Mocha, Vanilla, and some Spice on the Nose. Wish this wasn't my last bottle it was so good.

August 8, 2020 - YB belated at Pine Close. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is deep intensity, opaque black ruby colour. Long legs.
Nose pronounced intensity, with aromas of light Baygon insecticide, blackberries, black cherries, iron, dark chocolate, licorice, cassis. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, high alcohol (14.8%), soft high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of menthol, dark chocolate, blackberries, concentrated blackcurrant, cassis, iron, licorice. Long finish.
Good quality. Quite the typical Napa bombastic style. I don't see what else more development can do to this. Drink up.
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Franc.

July 25, 2020 - 4th Saturday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (R&Ds): Double blind. Dark and inky opaque color. Ripe nose- lots of ripe dark fruit and brown sugar, and perhaps also just a touch of VA here as well. Somewhat similar to wine H with a bit of a sour quality on the palate, though not nearly to the extent of H. Black fruit flavors abound- cassis and currant. Medium(-) finish.
