Community Tasting Notes 1

February 1, 2011 - Not very expressive a nose with some florals, peppery notes and some fruit: lychee, pineapple, yellow plum.
Medium to fullbodied oily mouthfeel with slight florals, some hand lotion and again the alcohol-boosted pepper aspect. Some heat and bitterness in the rather lengthy finish.
Somehow tedious. Needs food to make it work. Pork? Least favourite of the Villa Maria wines I've tasted so far.
