March 4, 2021 - double-decanted 1 hour prior to serving. Some smoke and leather in the nose, kinda muted, with some sweetness on the palate. Improved over time.

February 12, 2021 - We ended up decanting this, but not sure it needed it. Jovial fruit, titch of menthol, worn leather on the nose. Fruit much younger on the palate than I would have thought by the nose, with strong red and black fruit, unripe and ripe strawberries, and darker cherries predominating. Overall excellent showing

November 22, 2019 - One of my three favorites among about 20 premium wines at a party. Pretty amazing. Might have guessed it to be from 2010, not 2000. Fresh, balanced, and rich.
