February 3, 2011 - 13,5% alc. Merlot with a small addition of Alicante. A debut vintage of this wine. Intense nose of fresh red fruit, spicy nuances of crushed pepper and vanilla oak. Fresh on the palate, with hallmark Chianti vivid acidity which however is in tune with the fruit, fresh and dried, soft velvety tannins and light chocolate. Persistent finish. Tasted at home
