April 7, 2022 - This bottle and the 2008 vintage aged very well. As a very mature wine it retains enough acidity to drive the mellow plum cherryand raisin fruit. Tannins added the right structure for this wine to age so well. Glad I kept back the last bottle because I thought highly of the 2008 vintage from this region. Gone but not forgotten.

May 1, 2016 - Spicy plum licorice and cinnamon peach. Dark intensity. Lush and full mouth feel. Delicious. Pepper heat. Bell pepper.
