September 22, 2019 - Consistent with last bottle. Mature with slightly oxidized color. Pleasant nose reminiscent of burgundy. A bit of acid and some soil and mineral notes, but somewhat short on the finish. Somewhat simple. I wouldn't hold on to these.

September 18, 2019 - Great to taste this again after 4+ years, although I only got to taste it on day 2 after opening. Underwood, dark cherries, smoke, and definitely getting the brett on the nose. However, I don’t find it off putting. In fact, it tastes like a great French red! Lovely palate of dark cherries and berries with some more underwood flavors. Good finish. Rhys recalled this, but I actually really like it and much prefer it to the 2010 Alpine next to it (although that may have been an off bottle). 94

August 13, 2019 - One of the Brett bombs.

June 12, 2019 - Very interesting to compare this to a tasting note almost eight years ago. Some brett, but that fit into the Burgundian style of this wine. Fading slightly with slight browning on the rim and showing signs of oxidization. Moderate complexity with a short to medium finish. This bottle was well-advanced and it indicates this wine is on the back slope of its life.
