February 18, 2017 - 75 min decant. Medium bodied, not much fruit up front, above average balance and finish. Some spice. Certainly in prime and will continue to hold for a few more years.

April 30, 2016 - Well rounded and balanced. Nice fruit (light berries) notes with a great finish - Ready to drink now or within 1 to 2 years (no longer)
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It tastes like raspberry, fig, dust, medium toast, rose and sherry. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

March 12, 2016 - Bordeaux in the Black Hills Inaugural Blind Tasting Event (Our Home): #6. Served double-blind in Riedel Vinum XL Cabernet glass. Dark garnet robe. Nose of eucalyptus and plum. Decent intensity and concentration. Good acidity with a reasonable finish. The most simple though disjointed of the group. 88. My #6, Group #6
