January 15, 2022 - Purchased upon release and stored at 57 deg.F and 70% RH. Still the cork crumbled during extraction. I had to use my Durand to finish the cork pull. Double decanted for 1-1/2 hrs. At the end the bouquet from the decanter filled the cellar. Ripe cherries, mint, and other spices on the nose. Black cherries, mint, and dark chocolate on the palate. This wine is thick and perfectly balanced. The sweet notes are balanced by fine acidity. Lingering finish. This wine is drinking really well right now. It's hard to see how it could get much better. It's just so nice!

August 7, 2020 - My last bottle, and still goin strong. Really in its’ prime, but another couple of years won’t hurt this one. See my tasting notes below.

January 25, 2020 - Very balanced acidity and tannins. The nose is expressive showing notes of bing cherries, blueberries, black peppercorns, mint and toast. Layers of ripe cherries, cassis, mint, black peppercorns, mint and dried figs. Wonderful wine showing great now with another couple of years left in a strong run.

April 8, 2019 - For my taste, this wine has passed it's peak. It has entered a very elegant stage. Still very enjoyable, I would drink this on its own rather than steak dinner that I had prepared. Some wonderful subtle notes are there for sure.
