January 11, 2015 - Drank while entertaining so didn't take detailed notes but I enjoyed this bottle though it is a bit of a harsh Malbec by current standards.

November 4, 2013 - Just a touch of smoke in the nose, with dark fruits and plum in the mouth (not a big wine in the mouth), and a very light pepper in the finish.

I didn't think this was very drinkable immediately upon opening, but after 3 days it is just fine out of the bottle or through the vinturi. I recommend drinking this wine a year ago... or soon if you still have some.

August 2, 2013 - Needed a bit of time to open up. Cherry flavor with some pepperiness.

April 5, 2013 - It was very deep red with aromas of dark cherries and earthiness. It was balanced, smooth and rich dark cherries on the palate. It had a medium finish and dryness. Good QPR.

March 28, 2013 - Day One: Good, just. Concentrated. Better with food; without, there is a tart aspect to the finish that makes it not so much fun to drink. 80

Day Four. Improved with time. 84

Day 10 (!) Final half-glass, having already revisited this once before; vacu-vinned and refrigerated, then brought to room temp each time. Built to last, apparently, so up a few points. Tartness gone, lushness to the fore. Pleasant stuff. Final: 87
