  September 26, 2011 - Deep crimson. Strawberry, licorice, and tree bark on the nose. Medium bodied, sharp strawberries and raspberries, pepper, dust, good acid, soft tannins, a bit of heat, and a medium finish. A nice wine.

  August 16, 2011 - Deep purple color. Decent nose of cola and prune. The palate is full and rich with a touch soft. Flavors of blackberry and chocolate. Medium finish, creamy with sweetness and depth.

  June 28, 2011 - Drank over 2 days, first day through Venturi, second day as good as the first. Overall good wine. Nose definite Granache, earthy with hint of dark berries. Color, deep reddish purple. Very smooth without overly pronounced tannins. Medium long finish, with a hint of fruit, and well balanced. Not a great deal of complexity, and that is what keeps is from being excellent to outstanding. Overall, I can't see anyone who likes red wine not liking this wine. Great QPR under $12.
