June 18, 2016 - La couleur est plus foncée, beaucoup plus vers l'orange que le rose saumon habituel. La bouche est évoluée mais pas oxydée, quelques nuances de noix, de la marmelade, c'est goûteux et intéressant, belle complexité. 89 pts

June 20, 2015 - I've been holding aside tempier rose as an 'aging experiment' for a few years, with very mixed results. This bottle was a clear demonstration of the payoff/upside. Had it lost a bit of freshness? Yes, just a bit.... And it picked up weight and even a bit of color. But the herbal expression on the palate was just stunning. I could drink this all day and night and never get bored (tipsy, maybe, but not bored!)

Perfect match to the summer's first fresh ratatouille. Not convinced the wine will develop further (positively, at least)... But well worth holding until now

October 12, 2014 - Drank over 2 days. Night in the fridge. Still going strong. Very good. Showes more age, lost the young and freshness style, however it is has some very nice notes of strawberries, red fruit. Medium finish.

May 11, 2014 - Still a lovely wine. Drank with Spanish tapas, including patatas bravas, pinchitos, and empanadas, with some goat cheese and homemade bread - a perfect accompaniment. Still fresh and elegant.

May 8, 2014 - This wine is a benchmark for rosé. Agree that it's worth the high price and difficulty finding it. Having drank other "as-good-as-Tempier" wines I can honestly say they don't quite stand up to this wine. Excellent food wine

    September 19, 2013 - showing similarly to 7/28/13 note. still a joyous food-complementary wine.

grilled pimenton-rubbed swordfish w/pickled ramp aioli; caramelized corn maque choux w/Spanish chorizo; black krim tomato & arugula salad

7/30/2015 like Jahull03 on 6/20/15, kept a few to get some sense of bottle age prowess. this was a stunningly delicious bottle; color had mellowed from bright copper to burnished brass; herbal & funk nose; balanced & seamless equilibrium of wild savory beach plums, red stone fruit, garrigue & some tannins still evident. delicious, delicious. grilled head-on shrimp, anchovy-mint aioli; october beans w/guanciale, tomato concasse & grilled radicchio
