October 9, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group: Northern Rhone (Tilia, Mpls): This wasn't right, no fruit, lots of alcohol, sharp and disjointed. May simply be OTH.

April 8, 2012 - Aroma Stone fruits and honey. Silky on the palate. Nice on a warm day and with ham. Although it fades too quickly. Also a hit of spice at the end. Not bad at all but for the price I was left wanting more.

June 30, 2011 - Popped and poured. Medium-light white gold hue. Forward aromas redolent of stone fruits, ripe pear, honey, honey suckle, wet stones, and hints of lychee with a faint floral note. Medium-light to medium body, nicely concentrated with a glycerine mouthfeel. On the palate, this certainly shows true to the Viognier grape, with exotic, ripe fruit flavors tinged with honeycomb pushing through at the front. However, there is also a nice sensation of minerals and perhaps a touch of spice on the plus finish. Possesses just enough acidity to pair with food. A touch of heat too. Should age nicely over the short to mid-term.

February 19, 2011 - New Northern Rhones from Kermit Lynch (SF Wine Trading Company): Lighter yellow. Flowers and apricot aromatics. Unfortunately, much better on the nose than the palate. Light and spicy but dilute and almost no mid-palate presence. Amazing that this is twice as expensive and not even half as good as the Saint Joseph from the same producer. Really poor value.
