  December 29, 2020 - This wine is still drinking well. Nice red color with red cherry fruit, a hint of spice, vanilla, and oak. Drank over two days and it might have been a little better on day two. I will note that the cork was dry and I couldn't retrieve the cork in one piece!

  March 6, 2020 - The third bottle of the night, and the only enjoyable one. The first was a labrat bottle we just tasted and put away; the second was the '11 vintage of this, that was flawed and went down the drain. Thank goodness for this bottle! Not showing signs of age, lovely color, fruit just right.

  March 3, 2019 - Still drinking well at this age. Rather closed at first, but opened nicely in the glass after 30 minutes. Well-integrated on day two even, though had lost a bit of the deep blackberry, blueberry kirsch on day two.

  December 26, 2018 - Still Delicious. Didn’t take much to open up, basically pnp. Nose had cola, earth/leather. Palate has tart cherry, cola, pomegranate, some oak and spice. Finishes with some medium body tannins. Very nice!
