October 6, 2015 - Eyes: Dark red, impressive disc then wine is not clear...
Nose: fruits reduction come at first with wild wood and berries notes ...violette too, black cherry and notes of leather & wood came at second time.
Taste: full body, impressive for the age! Red fruits and wild berries are totally presents. No acidity and full roundness...second palet is very elegant and stable between acidity and minerality...impressive wine!
what a great tasting and discover.

September 2, 2013 - Amazing that this effort, despite 12 years of age still is so vital and fresh. There is even a sense of primary fruit left. This effort is perfectly balanced but certainly made in a traditional style. Limited oak exposure and rather expressive acidity. This effort drinks perfectly right now. No reason to hold off! (served from magnum)

July 10, 2012 - This bottle is indeed nearing the end of its peak, but its some delicious stuff. Deep cherry and chocolate flavors with a minimum of oak mix with just a hint of forest and some still semi-dense structure.

November 27, 2011 - This was a wonderful bottle of wine consumed at the end of its productive life. The nose was complex with mixtures of cherry and cranberry fruit, some spice, a bit of cedar and a bit of chocolate. On the palate it all came together. Dense concentration and wonderful mouth feel highlight the strong fruit, balanced spice and cedar notes. The finish just kept the palate coming and asking for more. The wine had considerable sediment, but it was not bitter in the least.

    July 17, 2011 - BIG!
I have had before and very consistent bottles.
Even after decanting 1 hr still great youthful dark color, big black and blue fruits, heat.
Ideal with dark chocolate samores in the microwave!
