  August 1, 2015 - It really, really needs to breathe. Initially it was a bit harsh even through an aerator. After a bit the dark fruit came out and it settled down. It's a really nice wine. Has more of a Cab feel, full bodied and tannic. Very long, with oaky vanilan that lingers. Would've been perfect with steak.

  January 4, 2014 - This wine shows black plums, dark berries, dust and earth with noticeable alcohol on the nose. The palate is less overwhelming than then nose and is more well balanced, showing dark fruit with hints of earthy vegetables and mild tannins.
